Night of the Full Moon [Open to All]
She could feel the change start to take her, which it wasn't supposed to. She had taken that potion that was supposed to stop the transformation but it didn't seem to be working. The asshole that made it promised it was just as good as anything she could get in a store and half the price. Normally Yvette wouldn't do something to stupid but she had just used all of her money on her the first and last month's rent on a shitty apartment and couldn't afford anything more.
Now she was paying for it. The moon was up and her skin went beyond itching, beyond burning, to feeling like it was splitting open. Which it was. Yvette could feel the bones in her jaw start to crack to elongate to form a snout and her teeth ached as they tried to elongate and then it would just stop, half formed and settled back. The hair on her body didn't same, ripping through the skin before settling back down.
Over and over her body started to change and stopped, started and stopped. She didn't trust herself to stay in her apartment, worried that she would destroy it and lose her security deposit. Yvette thought maybe running would help the restless feeling but it didn't. Her body wanted to shift into here werewolf form so she could lope along but couldn't.
It hurt like hell. Worse than hell.
It got so bad that she tried to shift, to force herself to become her werewolf form but she couldn't do that either. The potion was shitty enough that it wouldn't prevent her from shifting completely but apparently it worked well enough that she couldn't shift all the way and make the pain stop. She was going to fuck up that asshole that sold her this assuming she lived through it.
Work. She had to get to the Watersong. Something about it dampened her werewolf abilities so maybe it would be enough to stop her shift completely. She could just sneak in the back door and curl up in a corner somewhere. Of course, that was assuming she could make it there. She already passed out the pain and woke up in a bush once. She felt like she was going to die.
[Find Yvette anywhere in town that's not a main street or anything, trying to keep out of sight. She took some discount anti-shifting potion and is paying for it. Find her in any stage of transformation too.]

"I can understand that." He offered his hands, "first we need to get you out of this painful situation. Condoning can happen another time, when you feel better."

"We're almost there. And thanks. I know I'm being super extra bitchy so I appreciate you not bailing on me," she said. Later she'd send him a freaking thank you card or something but right now she thought she was being super kind not to rip out his throat. Or at least try to rip out his throat.

"Trust me, I'm being about as nice as I can be right now," she said, gritting her teeth in a smile. "You are being a freaking saint right now though. Once I get to work can I get you a drink?"

"Sure. I'm always told that you can never have too many friends, or too many meetings. Usually that's about first impressions, but we can ignore that here. I can."

"You can definitely have too many meetings," Yvette said. Maybe that was a New England saying or something. On the west coast they definitely thought that you could have too many meetings. This was really a different world here.
"Hey, in case I pass out, you know where we're going, right?"

If not ..he didn't hurt anyone acting like this. "Are you talking about business meetings? Because I don't have any experience with those."
