Eve had proven herself to be a hard worker. Laras minor reservations had been allayed pretty much the moment Eve had started at Watersong and Lara found her to be an asset. The customers liked her a whole lot too. As many women as men hit on the new girl, tipping large and often which made the rest of the staff happy. She sold more than a few expensive bottles so overpaid stuffed shirts and Lara couldn't help but smile as she brushed off their attempts at seduction.
It was past closing time and Lara had stayed on to do some paperwork. She was done for the night and headed out to hear a pretty voice singing and Eve being its owner. She stood and listened while Eve worked.
"Well that was pretty." She said as the song apparently ended. "You know there's an open mic night here every Wednesday. You should get up on stage."
