Her insides were not on the inside and that was a problem. Eve could heal from a lot. A lot a lot. In fact, she could feel her body trying to heal itself from the claw wounds that and ripped open her lower body. The only problem is that some of her body was... outside her body. Eve didn't know enough about anatomy to know what it was that had fallen out of her but it looked important and organ-like. A spleen maybe? What the hell did your spleen look like? Definitely some intestines were outside, just long messy ropes that slipped through her fingers as she tried to shove them back inside. She was sure that once they were in they would end up wherever they were supposed to.

The problem was that Eve's body kept trying to heal itself and close up before she had gotten everything back inside. She was delirious enough with pain and blood loss to actually giggle at the sight of her wound closed up with some intestines and the maybe-spleen hanging out. It meant that she had to rip herself open again and stuff as much in as she possibly could before it closed so much that she wasn't able to fit her hand in there. Good thing she had experience stuffing things in her holes.

It was a slow, incredibly painful process. Rip, shove. Rip, shove. All the while the snow around her grew more and more crimson as she continued to bleed out. Also, all the dead bodies and blood of the werewolves she'd killed that had attacked her also didn't really improve the scene all that much.

To be honest Eve was still trying to figure out what had happened. She'd gotten so good about avoiding other werewolves. It was a skill that had come in happy after most of the ones she'd ever met had tried to kill her. Eve had been making her way through the Maine countryside when she'd come upon the pack of werewolves, which had surprised the hell out of her because she should have smelled them first. She was willing to bet if she was able to search among the bodies she'd find a charm or something that would hide their scent. She'd try and come back for that though because that would be super fucking useful.

The group had almost seemed just as surprised to see her, although she'd only come from downwind and that was why they hadn't smelled her. They had attacked her immediately though and she wasn't sure if they hadn't known she was a werewolf or thought she would be easy prey but the first few she had killed seemed super duper surprised by it. As a human Eve had been in peak physical condition and there had been some sort of exponential growth when she'd been turned so that she was really strong as a werewolf.

Or maybe it was just because she had been turned into one. Apparently that wasn't how it had normally happened and she was "an abomination under the Creator and all creation". What the fuck ever. All she knew was that a wolf had bitten her, she'd almost died, and now she could do weird werewolf-y stuff. It had completely ruined her life and she totally wasn't pleased about it. Ever since she'd been on the run, going from southern California and steadily working her way up to Maine because why the hell not? She hadn't chosen it consciously but that's just where she'd ended up.

She had finally finished getting all the inside parts back on the inside when she sensed someone coming up behind her and whirled around. Well, she meant to whirl around but all the blood loss and still-shifting organs meant she just sort of fell over in the bloody snow. Blurry vision focused enough for her to see a handsome, grey-haired man looking down at her with a worried expression.

"Jusss gimmie a moment," Eve slurred as she ordered her body to sit up. Only her body was a filthy back-stabbing betrayer that refused to move. "Two moments. Then I'll kick yer ass too."

And then she passed out.

CHARACTER INFORMATION

NAME: Yvette "Eve" Larkin
CANON: OC
CANON POINT: What point in canon are they from?
AGE: 20

HISTORY: Yvette always knew what she wanted to be. She wanted to compete in track and field like her mom, only she wouldn't stop at college. She was going to the Olympics. And not just for running either. Yvette wasn't satisfied with being good at one thing. Or at two or three things. Yvette competed in the decathlon. Ten events to prove she was better than everyone else. Her favorite event was running though, neck and neck with others and coming out at the front of the pack. And Yvette was good. Good enough to break all the records at her high school. Good enough to win state and place nationally. Good enough to get a full ride to college.

But all that changed one night when she was in a car accident that left her the recipient of a blood transfusion that turned out to be "oh, positive this is werewolf blood". So without any horrible bite or mauling Yvette was transformed, only she had no clue. All she knew is that she recovered incredibly quickly from her accident, which she initially put down to how healthy she was.

She started to notice changes though, how much faster and stronger she was becoming, how everything looked and smelled and sounded so much more distinct. On the night of the full moon Yvette found out while when she transformed into a wolf. Scared and horrified about what had happened she hid what she was from her family and friends.

Becoming a werewolf changed everything for her though. It was all too easy now, every world record was easily shattered for her and regular people couldn't compete. It wasn't fair or right so everything she had worked for in her entire life was gone. So Yvette did what she did best... she ran and she didn't look back. She's spent two years on the run, slowly coming to terms with what she is and what it means she can do. Along the way she's learned more and more about the supernatural in her world and how she might be able to make a life for herself.

PAST GAME MEMORIES: N/A - she was in a game in the past but I'm taking her from before she started that game.

PERSONALITY:
Prior to becoming a werewolf Yvette was a cheerful girl who was confident almost to a fault. While not quite arrogant she loved a challenge and loved winning even more. At times it lead her to almost reckless behavior but nothing that would put other people in danger.

Track and field, specifically winning a gold medal in the heptathlon at the Olympics, was her entire life. Every moment of her life was dedicated to becoming the best and she was on track to shatter records until becoming a werewolf robbed that of her. With her purpose gone she still feels lost and drifting, her confident exterior now as much a shield and a lie as it was genuine. Her goal had become survival, something she tackled with the same ferocity as she had her Olympic dream. Slowly she's been learning more and more about the supernatural world as well and what it means to be a werewolf. Part of her is even starting to enjoy it and parts of her old self are starting to be seen.

Yvette still carries a lot of anger about being changed into a werewolf, although her former sweet nature can break through at times. She can still seem outgoing and friendly but it's often more an act to put people at ease or quickly ingratiate herself into someplace new. She is still extremely competitive but tends to hold back in physical contests so that she doesn't draw attention to herself. She can also have a bit of a temper and a stubborn streak as well that comes from always wanting to be right.

The wolf side of her also makes her a bit more quick to anger, something that she's been working to get under control. She doesn't like feeling out of control of her own body. It's taken her two years to finally accept that these new feelings are part of herself and that ignoring them doesn't make them go away. Fortunately the wolf side of her also has made her own natural instincts sharper and more reliable, making survival in the strange new supernatural world she found herself in a bit easier.

While she is more reserved about it these days she will definitely still stand up for others if they appear to be in trouble, something that her old self and her werewolf self can both agree on. The only problem is that this usually means drawing attention to herself when she would rather fly under the radar.

POWERS/ABILITIES:
Due to her werewolf natural Yvette has enhanced senses, especially her sense of smell, which is strong enough that she can almost "see" by scent. Combined with an excellent sense of hearing and sight, new places can almost be overwhelming for her because of sensory overload.

Yvette has two werewolf forms, that of a wolf and a human-wolf hybrid. While she can shift (with some pain) back and forth between the two (or with intense concentration, just a part of her) she absolutely must shift to a wolf on the full moon. During this time her wolf instincts are much stronger and it is more difficult for her to think in human terms she does not lose her mind. There is no "wolf" inside of her that is producing independent thoughts, merely instincts. Similarly, as a wolf she has stronger problem solving and critical thinking skills than a normal wolf would. She can understand human speech but can't talk back. She's almost more inclined to do things like kill and eat animals while in wolf form.

Even in her human form Yvette is much stronger, faster, and more durable than a normal human. She can recover from almost any wound except for decapitation or removal of her heart. Silver is poisonous to her but it would not instantly kill her. A wound from a silver weapon would affect her like it would a normal person, so shooting her in the arm with a silver bullet wouldn't necessarily kill her. Yvette must also still eat, breath, and drink water to live. She actually needs food at water and more frequent intervals due to her increased metabolism.

SAMPLES:

She could feel the change start to take her, which it wasn't supposed to. She had taken that potion that was supposed to stop the transformation but it didn't seem to be working. The asshole that made it promised it was just as good as anything she could get in a store and half the price. Normally Yvette wouldn't do something to stupid but she had just used all of her money on her the first and last month's rent on a shitty apartment and couldn't afford anything more.

Now she was paying for it. The moon was up and her skin went beyond itching, beyond burning, to feeling like it was splitting open. Which it was. Yvette could feel the bones in her jaw start to crack to elongate to form a snout and her teeth ached as they tried to elongate and then it would just stop, half formed and settled back. The hair on her body didn't same, ripping through the skin before settling back down.

Over and over her body started to change and stopped, started and stopped. She didn't trust herself to stay in her apartment, worried that she would destroy it and lose her security deposit. Yvette thought maybe running would help the restless feeling but it didn't. Her body wanted to shift into her werewolf form so she could lope along but couldn't.

It hurt like hell. Worse than hell.

It got so bad that she tried to shift, to force herself to become her werewolf form but she couldn't do that either. The potion was shitty enough that it wouldn't prevent her from shifting completely but apparently it worked well enough that she couldn't shift all the way and make the pain stop. She was going to fuck up that asshole that sold her this assuming she lived through it.

Work. She had to get to the Watersong. Something about it dampened her werewolf abilities so maybe it would be enough to stop her shift completely. She could just sneak in the back door and curl up in a corner somewhere. Of course, that was assuming she could make it there. She already passed out the pain and woke up in a bush once. She felt like she was going to die.

Yvette had to admit that other than the one experience with messed up anti-shifting potion the time she'd spent in Siren Cove had probably been the best since she'd been turned. People didn't freak out about her weirdness here and in fact, with how much she hid it, people really didn't even comment or notice it at all. She had a super tiny place she was renting above the garage of a nice old lady with a discounted rent in exchanges for helping clean up around the place.

She was basically working all the time but that was fine with her, it wasn't anything she wasn't used to. Besides, her job at the Watersong was pretty great. She made a killing on tips and the customers were a lot nicer than what she was used to. Probably because no one messed with Lara, which was amazing. Lara was sexy and bad ass and a great boss. Yvette maybe had a bit of a lady boner for her but she was pretty sure everyone had a boner of some sort for Lara Quinn.

Most of her shift was fun, chatting and being friendly with clients while she made sure they were happy. She was good at it, picking it up quickly as promised. Plus, she got to watch the dancers, which was awesome. Dancing was always one of her favorite ways to blow off steam, whether it was at a high school dance or the one time she and friends had snuck in to a club using fake IDs.

Was the place had shut down she was still there, happy to be one of the ones on the closing shift. You got to learn to do a lot more when you closed or opened a place, which meant you learned more and were more valuable. You also got to pick up more work usually because those were the shifts no one else really wanted.

But for the most part she was almost done tonight, just some last minute cleaning of some areas and then she could go home. Slipping her earbuds in she cranked up the volume a bit and sang along softly while she began to dance about as she finished up.

"I didn't know that I was starvin' 'til I tasted you..."

[Talk to her at work, after she's off, or catch her when she's heading home!]

[Find Yvette anywhere in town that's not a main street or anything, trying to keep out of sight. She took some discount anti-shifting potion and is paying for it. Find her in any stage of transformation too.]

CHARACTER AGE: 20

SPECIES: Werewolf

BACKGROUND & HISTORY: Yvette always knew what she wanted to be. She wanted to compete in track and field like her mom, only she wouldn't stop at college. She was going to the Olympics. Good enough to break all the records at her high school. Good enough to win state and place nationally. Good enough to get a full ride to college.

But not good enough to outrun that wolf that attacked her suddenly while she was running through the woods on vacation with her family. Becoming a werewolf changed everything for her. It was all too easy now, every world record was easily shattered for her and regular people couldn't compete. It wasn't fair or right so everything she had worked for in her entire life was gone. So Yvette did what she did best... she ran and she didn't look back. Two years later she's left a trail of secrets behind her to come to Siren Cove, a small town in Maine where she's heard it's so strange even a lone werewolf can get ignored.

PERSONALITY: Yvette still carries a lot f anger about being changed into a werewolf, although her former sweet nature can break through at times. Usually she prefers not to engage anymore, a once outgoing and vibrant girl still learning how to come out of the shell she's built up around herself. She is still extremely competitive but tends to hold back so that she doesn't draw attention to herself. She can also have a bit of a temper and a stubborn streak as well that comes from always wanting to be right. While she is more reserved these days she will definitely still stand up for others if they appear to be in trouble, although she's more reluctant to do it these days.

OPINION OF THE RIVALRY: It's great because it takes the attention off of her.

LIFESTYLE: Yvette has been traveling across the country from Oregon for the past few years. She's been working odd jobs and hitchhiking the entire way. She's left more than her fair share of trouble in her wake though. She's just arriving in Siren Cove and is looking for work and a place to stay. Likely she'll just find a crappy one room apartment somewhere.

POWERS & ABILITIES: She is a bitten wolf and has all the abilities that come with that. She will be taking the potion though.
PLAYED BY: Katherine McNamara

What Am I Looking For? Beyond connections in a new town I'd love for there to be someone from her past around or that catches up with her. A BFF or significant other from her past or someone she's helped or pissed off in the past, anything works!
